I’m Cohen Pettitt, the founder of Workshop 10. Coming from a line of fabricators, bringing ideas to life has always been both a passion and an obsession, particularly in understanding how things are designed to work. Whether it’s an aesthetic piece that fills a space in a home or something as simple as a gate to keep the dogs in, everything has a purpose, and at some point, everything was designed to serve that purpose.
After leaving school, I completed my trade, building a strong foundation in metal fabrication. I then went on to complete an Education degree, continuing to design and fabricate throughout. This path allowed me to teach Design and Technology across a wide range of disciplines, including steel, wood, plastics, jewellery, furniture and construction.
That combination of hands-on trade experience and teaching has shaped the way I work today. I value thoughtful design, practical solutions, and making things properly — with intention, care, and longevity in mind.
Workshop 10 is where those values come together: a small, hands-on workshop focused on well-made, considered work.
